Ice Climbing
If your visiting Ouray, CO in the winter and want to have some adventure, check out the ice climbing in the Ouray Ice Park. The Ouray Ice Park has miles of vertical farmed ice that’s extremely accessible. Local guide, Dawn Glance can teach you the basics as well as set you up with any equipment you might need.
Fund raising to support the Ice Park is primarily by donations and membership fees. Please consider becoming a member and supporting the sponsors that support the Ice Park. The primary fund raiser is the Ouray Ice Festival which has become a major climber’s rendezvous each January. Ouray locals create a spectacular event that features exhibition climbing, clinics, seminars, slide shows, and gear demos.
